We got an early start today, got to the Border at 8:45 a.m.
The congenial customs officer told the girls that he had never
been on a cruise and he thought we should take him with us.
Although we planned to cross on the bridge, Mabel (our GPS)
took us to Detroit via the tunnel.
We stopped for lunch at an Amish restaurant in Ohio, and drove
on Highway 77 to Beckley, West Virginia. We stayed over at a
Howard Johnsons. Girls had a swim and we went for dinner to
Subway. No Sub sauce here -- waitress had never heard of it. Only in
Canada, you say??
Carol is still having trouble uploading pictures. Should have
brought Margie with us! Will try again tomorrow.
Maybe I could fly in for a guest consult....
ReplyDeletetake the pic of the camera and put them in a file...any file...the cuise file...the carol pictue file or wherever. Then go to your blog and edit and upload from whatever file they are from. Or....just wait ...I have a brilliant idea. email the pics to me and I will edit them into your posts. We can do tandem blogging. I bet that is a cutting edge term...a new idea...right on the very outside of the blogging world. Yor write the script and email me the pics and I will get them on. You can do this Carol...we can do this together. We are strong women. Hello to Ken and the 12 year old K's.

who's idea was it to go to subway, this is Katrina's favorite place to eat, Mcdonald's in not in 1st. anymore, hope the girls are easy on you Carol and Ken.
